To our friends around the world,

We as a family simply want to say "thank you" to all of the thousands of people who have send cards, letters, emails, flowers, and messages of love to our family, as we have been dealing with the drastic loss and accident and loss that occurrred on the MS Explorer in the Antarctic Ocean.

This blog was originally intended to serve as a simple way to communicate with the members of the media who have been incredible during this ordeal. However, this event quickly took on a life of its own, as The Today Show, Dateline, Channel 9 in Australia, Inside Edition USA, King World Productions, MGM, Paramount Pictures, Fox News, NBC, ABC, CBS, The Associated Press, Gannet Publications, USA Today, The BBC, and the list goes on and on.
